CeCe Winans Curates Exclusive Apple Music Playlist for Premier Gospel Awards 2024 Celebration

In a ground-breaking collaboration that bridges continents and hearts, Compassion UK and Premier Gospel are honoured to announce that Grammy Award-winning gospel sensation CeCe Winans has curated an exclusive Apple Music Playlist, “My Story My Song,” as part of the Premier Gospel Awards 2024 celebration. Her unique playlist will go live on Saturday 21 September, to coincide with the UK’s flagship gospel event at the Royal Festival Hall, London sponsored by Compassion UK.

Listen To The “My Story, My Song” Playlists

CeCe Winans, a global ambassador for Compassion and a fervent advocate for faith through music, has personally selected songs that resonate with her journey, life, and faith. Each track stands as a testament to CeCe’s profound influence on gospel music and her commitment to storytelling through melody and lyrics.

“The Premier Gospel Awards 2024 isn’t just an event; it’s a movement celebrating the vibrancy of gospel music and its transformative power,” said Muyiwa Olarewaju OBE, Station Director at Premier Gospel. “Having CeCe Winans share her musical journey through ‘My Story My Song’ enriches our celebration, connecting fans across the globe with the stories behind the songs that inspire us all.”

At Compassion UK, we’re delighted to be partnering with the Premier Gospel Awards 2024 to raise awareness of how we can join with the global church to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. You can find out more about our partnership here.

While CeCe Winans won’t be attending the awards in person, her spirit and legacy will echo throughout the evening via her handpicked selections, contributing to an atmosphere of inspiration and unity.

Fans can access “My Story My Song” exclusively on Apple Music, immersing themselves in the soundtrack of CeCe Winans’ life and faith—a perfect companion to the Premier Gospel Awards 2024 experience.

One Compassion ambassador who will be there on the night to perform, is Kemi Mesafint. Kemi grew up in poverty in Ethiopia, yet God had an incredible plan for his life. Read Kemi’s story here to find out how the love of the local church, in partnership with Compassion, empowered him to keep going through some of life’s greatest challenges.
