Pray for Aldea La Isla in Guatemala following storms

We’ve now received confirmation from Compassion Guatemala that one of our church partners, Iglesia Cristiana Díscipulos de Cristo, has been damaged by the storm. 

Please pray in particular for four families in the community whose homes have been destroyed. Compassion project staff and church members have visited the families to provide them with emergency supplies. The project has already begun preparations to assist the families with home repairs.

Take a moment today to pray for families in Aldea La Isla in Guatemala. Over the last few days the community has experienced heavy rains and strong winds. Several homes have been destroyed and power lines are down. 

Please pray for provision for all those who have lost homes and possessions. Ask for God to comfort those who have faced fear or trauma. We’re still awaiting specific details from Compassion Guatemala about the number of sponsored child affected. We will contact you directly if your sponsored child has been impacted.
