Celebrating Compassion Volunteers

As we approach the start of summer, we want to take a moment to celebrate the amazing work that’s been achieved in the last 12 months, thanks to you, our incredible volunteers.

Together, you’ve spoken at 297 churches across the UK. As a result, 685 children and young people heard the incredible news that they now have a sponsor.

From all of us at Compassion, we wanted to say a massive thank you for the important part you’re playing in seeing children released from poverty in Jesus’ name.

Growing the Volunteer Family

In the last 12 months, we were delighted to welcome 50 new Compassion Volunteer Speakers. This is a group of men and women passionate about using their voices to inspire people to take action and stand up for children in poverty.

Equipping our Volunteer Speakers

We’ve held two amazing Volunteer Speaker training courses to help equip our new speakers.

We also saw the launch of our Speaker Masterclasses where we’ve welcomed some incredible guest speakers, including Anne, a former Compassion project director.
